IMS Micro Automatic

Using remote-inflated air bladders, the arm of the Micro Automatic lateral cutter positions itself remotely by creeping and climbing; clamps itself for precise cutting in vertical or horizontal orientation; and feeds the cutting head a full 4 inches. Just 72mm in diameter, the arm fits through small openings, and its agile articulation facilitates precision cutting, as well as maneuvering through 90-degree bends in 4” lines.

  • Self-positions using 3 remote-inflated air bladders.
  • Travels up to 96’.
  • 400 degree rotation and 90 degree swivel.
  • Cutting power factor of 1.0.
  • Joystick controls and 3.5″ LCD screen and MPEG/JPEG capture.
  • CANbus-based controls with twin multi-function joysticks for easy position recall.
  • Interchangeable bits address wide range of pipe materials and cutting tasks.
